Bulb oblate spherical, 2.5-3.0 cm in diameter, tunic leathery, yellow brown (RHS167B), appressed hairy inside. Stems 40-45 cm, dark green (RHS137A), pubescent; 3-4 leaves, dark green (RHS137A), waved, lanceolate. Single flower, lily type, 9.5-10.5 cm in diameter, tepals are purple (RHSN79C) and yellow (RHS6A) at base; Fruits are cylindrical, 1.5-2.0 cm in diameter. Flowering at early May.
