Inside light orange-yellow (24C), midveins strong orange (24A), throat light orange-yellow (22C); outside pale orange-yellow (24D), becoming light orange-yellow (24C) towards edges, midveins suffused strong yellow-green (144C); nectaries light orange (26C); dark red (187A/B) spots over up to 1/2 of each petal and with a few papillae in the throat; pollen moderate reddish brown (175A); stigma strong yellowish pink (34D) with a little vivid reddish orange (34A). Fls 190-200 mm wide; petals 125 x 45-65 mm, margins ruffled, tips recurved. Lvs alternate, 225 x 25 mm. Stems 1.05 m, green, with 5-6 fls from hairy buds. June. |
