Inside pale purplish pink (56B/C) on an ivory white ground, midveins pale greenish yellow (2D), the throat strong yellow-green (143C); outside yellowish white/very pale purple (155B/75D), with light greenish yellow (1C) midveins; deep purplish red (59B) spots over large part of each petal and with papillae in throat; pollen strong orange (25A). Fls 220mm wide; petals 105 x 60mm, slightly ruffled, slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 170 x 30mm, mid green. Stems 1.0m, green, with c6 fls. May (under glass). |
