| Description |
Inside pure white; outside white with a hint of pink along midribs; unspotted or with a few, tiny, magenta spots at base of petals; nectaries light green; no pollen produced; stigma light purple to white. Fls 140-180 mm wide, double (with several narrow, more-or-less erect petaloids; the stigma occasionally split into 2-3 lobes); normal petals 70-80x20-30 mm, very slightly ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 100-150x7.5-20 mm, dark green. Stems 20-50 cm, deep green to bronze green, with c. 7-20 fls (from a 12-16 cm bulb). Mid June. |
