Exterior: basal third of tepal primrose yellow (CC4D), midvein sulphur yellow (CC 6D), near the top darker (CC 6C) and paler near the margins; sometimes a tepal with a reddish glow and some chrysanthemum red (CC 60A) at the margin. When mature: the three inner tepals with a chrysanthemum red (CC 60B+C) feather on ivory white (CC 155A) ground. Inside: base bronze yellow (CC 153C); tepals with dresden yellow (CC 5B) glow on a paler ground, top half of tepal with dresden yellow (CC 5A) margins with some currant red (CC 46A); midvein ivory white (CC 155A) with some currant red (CC 46A). When mature: chrysanthemum red (CC 60B+C) on an ivory white (CC 155A) ground; inner three tepals paler. Filaments paler than barium yellow (CC 10C), pollen canary yellow (CC 7A). Ovary scheele's green (CC 144C), stigma canary yellow (CC 9D). Stem scheele's green (CC 144B), leaves fern green (CC 146A). |
