Inside strong orange (25B), the lower part of each petal dark red (59A) blending into a light orange-yellow (24C) throat, outside strong orange (25A), the 'tube' suffused moderate purplish red (58A); dark red (59A) spots over all but tip of each petal; pollen dark reddish orange (175B). Fls 170mm wide; petals 90 x 50mm, not ruffled, not recurved. Lvs alternate, 150 x 15mm, mid green. Stems 0.5m, green, with darker markings and c4 fls. June (under glass). An asiatic/L. longiflorum hybrid. |
