Inside light yellow (20B), throat pale yellow (20D), midveins above nectaries strong orange-yellow (24B); outside pale yellow (20C), a little stronger coloured towards edges, outer petals tipped dark red (187A), midveins strong yellow-green (144C); nectaries strong orange-yellow (24B); dark red (187A) spots om basal parts of each petal, together with papllae along the nectary; pollen moderate reddish brown (175A); stigma moderate orange (170D). Fls 210 mm wide; petals 115 x 45-60 mm, margins ruffled, tips hardly recurved. Lvs alternate, 215 x 20 mm. Stems 1.0 m, green, with a little darker marking and c. 5 fls from hairy buds. June. |
