Inside moderate purplish red (70D) on a white (155D) ground, edged white (155D) and with pale yellow (8D) midveins, throat white (155D); outside white (155D), shaded moderate purplish red (70D) to the edges, midveins pale pale yellow green (4D), tinged stromg yellow-green (144B) at base, and strong yellow-green (144B/C) at apex; nectaries strong yellow-green (144B); moderate purplish red (58A) spots on basal part of each petal; pollen strong brown (172A); stigma dark purple (79A). Fls 150mm wide; petals 100x40-50mm, ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 130x20-30mm, green. Stems 1.1m, pale green, tinged dark red (183A) at leaf beases and with 6-7 fls. |
