Inside deep red (53A) - fading towards apex and edges - on a white (155B) ground, throat white (155B); outside moderate purplish red (64A) - fading towards apex and edges - on a white (155B) ground, midveins white (155A), tipped strong yellow-green (143B); dark red (187B) spots on basal part of each petal and white (155B) papillae in the throat; pollen strong brown (172A); stigma dark purple (79A). Fls 250 mm wide; petals 120 x 55-70 mm, margins slightly ruffled, tips strongly recurved. Lvs alternate, 180 x 45 mm. Stems 75 cm, green, with c.2-3 fls. |
