Inside deep purplish pink (72D) on a ground whiter than (155D), midveins light greenish yellow (8B), throat whiter than (155D); outside with a slight deep purplish pink (72D) suffusion over a ground whiter than (155D), midveins light yellow-green (150D), shading to strong yellow-green (144B) towards apex, base with a little light yellow-green (150D); spots of brilliant yellow (8A) and strong orange (25A/26A), papillae of brilliant yellow (8A) and white *155D); nectaries strong yellow-green (144B); pollen strong reddish orange/strong orange (169A/B); stigma moderate yellow-green (138B). Fls 230 mm wide; petals 120-130 x 45-70 mm, margins ruffled, tips strongly recurved. Lvs alternate, 150-170 x 25-30 mm. Stems 1.1 m, grren, with a little darker marking and c.5 fls. July. |
