Description

Flowers 6-7 cm wide and tepals 18 mm across at their widest part, the color a shade of orpiment orange (HCC 10/1). Three of the tepals have a central blotch of chrysanthemum red (HCC 824) at the base, and the other three tepals have two opposite marginal blotches. The spikes grow 75 cm tall and are well furnished with flowers. It was claimed that the plant needs no protection whatoever and could be left in the ground all year-round.
