Inside moderate purplish red (184D) on a light orange-yellow (22D) ground and with a (22D) spot at the base, throat brilliant yellow (20A) and a little moderate purplish red (184D); outside deep pink (51B/C) on a light orange-yellow (22D) ground, modetate pink (51D) along the midveins which have a light green suffusion, tipped strong yellow-green (144D); unspotted, but a few papillae in the throat and towards base; pollen moderate orange (167A); stigma dark red (187A). Fls 180 mm wide; petals 105 x 35-50 mm, margins slightly ruffled, tips recurved. Lvs alternate, 230 x 20 mm. Stems 95 cm, green, with c.3 fls. June. |
