Description Strong purplish red (63A), dark red (187C) on midrib, shading to strong purplish pink (63C) towards edges, tips pale purplish pink (65D), throat strong yellow-green (144B), outlined with brilliant greenish yellow (2B); dark red (187B) spots extending 2/3 the length of each petal; nectaries 144B; pollen strong orange (26A). Fls 200mm wide; petals 115 x 45mm, margins ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 185 x 44mm, dark green. Stems 1.05m, moderate yellow-green (146D), with c5 fls. Midseason.
