Inside variegated strong purplish red 60B on a paler ground, paler toward apex and edges, midveins from above nectary brilliant to light yellow-green 150C/D for c 15 mm, throat light yellow-green 150D; outside strong purplish red 60D on a white ground, midveins stronf yellow-green 144C with a little 144A at the base; dark red 187B spots in the throat, no papillae; nectaries white hairy; stigma light orange-yellow 19A; pollen strong reddish orange 169A. Fls 180 mm wide; petals 110 x 115 x 40-50 mm, not riffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 180 x 30 mm. Stems 1.05-1.2 m, green with darker markings and cfls. |
