A double form of nivalis L. with doubled inner segments, with yellow (not green) apical markins. Leaves semi-erect to erect, 12 x 0.5 cm, margins flat. Scape semi-erect to erect, 16 cm. Pedicel approx. same lenght as spathe. Outer segments shallowly concave, 24 mm, l:w approx. 5:2, base strongly unguiculate, apex pinched. Inner segments (12-)15(-18), l:w approx 5:3, apex not flared; formation usually irregular; sinus equilateral, small; mark on apical 1/4 a narrow V with rounded ends. Ovary medium olive-green, conical, l:w approx. 5:3. |
