Description |
Flowers white, faintly stained crimson at the margins. This is best treated as C. repandum forma album. As with many other albinos, all plants with white flowers have in the past been limped into a blanket cultivar, 'Album'; they are best referred to forma album. If particularly good and distinctive white forms are produced in cultivation and meet the desired criteria, they can be given the formal recognition of a cultivar name. The white forms of C. repandum, which have come from varying sources in the wild, are not widely available, and they tend to be rather weak plants, un my experience. |
