Very closely related to T. securigera from which it differs chiefly in its flowering period and more eastern distribution; also in the following morphological characters: Flowers slightly smaller, 22-32(-35) mm long, with throat and sometimes posticous perianth segment inside whitish, throat with slender dark lines; calli on anticous segments narrower, tooth-like, 3-5 mm high, often greenish yellow. Anthers reaching up to upper quarter of posticous segment; pollen pale. Capsules erect, up to 15 mm long. |
