Flowers single, outer petals oval with a long basal claw and rounded apex, inner petals wit an x shaped green mark which fills the outer face of the petal; the area between the top part of the xs' arms may be solid green and the lower arms reduced, or the area between the lower arms may be solid; the inner petals are clasping and emarginate. Leaves broad reduplicate, glaucous green. Stems up to 15 cm.
