Summary colour violet N87C. Leaves 21-24 cm long, 6 mm wide, green slightly glaucous. Scape 46-48 cm long. Umbel 6.5 cm across, 14 flowered. Pedicels glaucous, 12-18 mm long. Perianth tube violet, 12 mm long, 4.5 mm wide at base of perianth segments. Perianth segments two whorls inserted at same level, 7 mm long, 3-4 mmwide at base, violet-pink, obovate, segments overlapping at base. Corona on opening of three separate elements place at the root of the upper perianth segment, whitish suffused violet-pink, 3 mm long recurved outwards. Anthers in two alternate whorls, upper 2-2.5 mm from the base of the lower perianth segment, lower anthers about 2 mm below. Ovary 2-2.5 mm long. Style approx 1 mm. Stigma subcapitate. |
