Outer segments are approximately 3 cm long. Outside outer segments: They have a v-shaped green band pointing towards the base. This is between 3 and 5mm wide, wider at the petal veins, and it spans at least 10 veins of the segment. This frames a white diamond-shaped mark at the tip of the outer segments. Outside inner segments white, mark on the inner segments resembles an inverted heart shape. The receptacle and the inner segments are both about 1.5 cm long. Inside outer segments white with green stripes at the top. The scape and the spathe are typically both near-vertical and about 20 cm to 25 cm in total length. The pedicel is short (about 2mm protruding from the spathe).Flowering time is mid to late January in the south of the UK. The flower has a pleasant honey-like scent. A large snowdrop with a green band towards the apex of the outer petals that frames a pure white tip. In immature bulbs the green mark on the outer petals is sometimes weaker or absent. |

Buitenste bl.bl. 3,0 cm lang, ca. 1,5 cm breed. Blad groen. Steel 20-25 cm lang, bijna opgericht. Bloemsteeltje kort, 2mm langer dan spatha cm lang. |
