Description

Inside strong purplish pink (63C) at first, ageing to moderate purplish pink (62B), throat yellowish white (155B); outside light purplish pink (63D), each petal with strong purplish red (63B) margin; spots and papillae present; nectaries pale purplish pink (62D); pollen deep orange-yellow (163A); stigma pale yellow-green (4D) and brilliant greenish yellow (6B). Fls 180 mm wide; petals 125 x 45 mm, margins smooth, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 140 x 38 mm. Stems 1.2 m, green with darker markings at base, with c.3 fls. Midseason.
