Flowering height 130mm (under glass, probably shorter outside). Leaves plicate, spreading, approximately 70mm x 15mm at flowering time, displaying the flowers well. Scapes upright. Ovary cylindrical, tapering to pedicel. Ovary length:width approximately 1.6:1. Flower shape conical. Flower length including ovary 24mm. Pedicel 75% the length of the slightly curved spathe. Outer segments longitudinally ridged, 16mm long by 11mm wide, with a slight sinus notch at the apex, which is upturned. The marks on each outer segment are yellow, comprise a large oval (with apical notch), and a paler, more diffuse mark nearer the base. No distinct 'claw'. The inner surface bears a single mark, slightly greenish yellow, extending almost to the base, broader and dividing into two lobes at the apex. The inner segments are 13 x 8 mm, the single inner segment mark being yellow and covering most of the surface except for a white rim, fading slightly about a third of the way from the base. The inner surface is similar, with veins picked out in yellowish green. The flowers have a spicy scent. |

Samenvatting kleur: wit NN155C met groenbruin 151D merk. Hoogte bloem 2,4 cm inclusief vruchtbeginsel. Bloem conisch. Binnenzijde: buitenste bl.bl. wit circa NN155C met bruingroen circa 151C merk dat zich bijna tot aan basis uitstrekt, zich verbreedt en zich aan top in twee lobben verdeelt. Binnenste bl.bl. geelgroen circa 151B met uitzondering van witte rand en met geelgroene nerven. Buitenzijde: buitenste bl.bl. wit circa NN155C met ovaal (met apicale inkeping) groenbruin circa 151D en bleker, meer diffuus merkteken dichter bij basis. Binnenste bl.bl. groenbruin circa 152D met het grootste deel van het oppervlak merk, met uitzondering van witte rand, die op ongeveer derde van basis iets vervaagt. Vruchtbeginsel groengeel, cylindrisch, taps toelopend naar steel. Buitenste bl.bl. 1,6 cm lang, 1,1 cm breed. Binnenste bl.bl. 1,3 cm lang, 0,8 cm breed. Blad groen, plicaat, gespreid, 7,0 cm lang, 1,5 cm breed. Steel circa 10-11 cm lang. Bloemsteeltje circa 75% van lengte van licht gebogen spatha. Bloemen kruidige geur. |
