Inside vivid purplish red (57D), edged yellowish white (155B), midveins vivid purplish red (61C), throat ivory white; outside strong purplish red (60D) on an ivory white ground, midveins suffused pale greenish yellow (2D); a few deep red (60A) spots near the throat; nectaries strong yellow-green (144B); stigma deep reddish purple (77A); pollen brownish orange (171B). Fls 210mm wide; petals 110 x 50mm, margins slightly ruffled, tips medium to strongly recurved. Lvs alternate, 150 x 37mm, mid green. Stems 1.2m, mid green with darker markings and c10 fls. |
