Inside variegated deep purplish pink (54B) and strong purplish pink (55B), throat with a little white (155D) and a yellow glow; outside variegated deep purplish pink (54B) and strong purplish pink (55B) on a white ground, stronger coloured towards the edges, midveins (mainly on the outer petals) suffused strong yellow-green (144C); dark red (187C) spots in the throat, no papillae; nectaries strong yellow-green (143A), white hairy; pollen vivid orange-yellow (23A); stigma moderate red (185B). Fls 190mm wide; petals 100 x 35-50mm not ruffled, tips recurved. Lvs alternate, 165 x 15mm, mid green. Stems 1.1m, light green, with c. 6 fls. Midseason. |
