Flower about 70 mm wide, opening flat, with claws of perianth segments remaining erect. Outer perianth segments narowly ovate, 38 x 12 mm; inner perianth segments more broadly ovate, 38 x 19 m; all perianth segments concave, apiculate, spireae red (CC 63A), inside and out, with a bluish tinge at base outside, and a distinct bluish zone at the base inside, with the base of claw greenish; anthers and ovary black. Leaves in a rosette, prostrate, broadly linear, about 15 mm wide, channeled, glaucous above, pale glossy below. |
