Inside brilliant yellow (8A), shading to pale yellow (8D) towards edges, midvein light greenish yellow (8B) towards apex, throat light greenish yellow (8B); outside white (155A); shading to light greenish yellow/pale yellow (8C/D) towards edges, midveins pale ywllow (8D), the base strong yellow-green (145B/C); inner petals a little paler; nectaries strong yellow-green (144A); no spots, but a few papillae on up to c. 1/2 of petal (mainly on inner petals); pollen strong brown (172A); stigma dark red (187A). Fls 250 mm wide; petals 150-160 × 50-70 mm, margins ruffled, tips recurved. Lvs alternate, 230-280 x 30-40 mm. Stems 1.2-1.3 m, light green, with c. 3 fls. |
