Inside strong purplish red (60B) on a paler ground, with a white (155B) throat; outside moderate purplish red (64A) on a paler ground, with a little white (155B) at base, midveins light yellow-green (154D) to strong yellow-green (143C), tipped strong yellow-green (143A); nectaries strong yellow-green (144A); dark red (187A) spots on basal part of each petal, and white (155B) papillae in the throat (a few with dark red (187C) tips); pollen strong orange (169B), stigma light yellow-green (145D). Fls 220 mm wide, petals 115 x 40-65 mm, margins slightly ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 190 x 35 mm, dark green. Stems 1.4 m, dark green, with c4 fls. |
