Inside moderate red (180B) on a moderate orange (170C) ground, apex moderate red (180A), edges narrow moderate orange (170D), throat moderate orange-yellow (168D); outside a little lighter than moderate pink (35D), with moderate red (180B/C) towards edges and narrow, moderate orange (170B/C) edges; nectaries moderate orange (170C); dark red (187B) spots on basal part of each petal and a few papillae in the throat; pollen moderate reddish brown (175A); stigma moderate red (180A). Fls 210 mm wisw; petals 120 x 45-60 mm, hardly ruffled, tips recurved. Lvs alternate, 215 x 20 mm. Stems 95 cm, light green, with 2-3 fls (4-6 fls/12-14 cm bulbs) from hairy buds. June. |
