Inside vivid purplish red (57A/B), with a little white (155B) in the throat; outside strong purplish red (17B) on a paler ground, with a little white (155B) at the base, midveins strong yellow-green (144A/C); nectaries strong yellow-green (143C); a few dark red (187B) spots in the throat together with a few similarly coloured papillae; pollen strong orange (169C); stigma moderate purplish red (70A) with a little moderate yellow-green (138B). Fls 200 mm wide; petals 105 x 40-50 mm, margins not rufled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 140 x 40 mm, dark green. Stems 1.2 m, green, with c4 fls. |
