Inside moderate purplish red (59C) on a pale yellow (8D) ground, the basal third of each petal with less purplish red colouring, throat pale yellow (8D) with strong-yellow green (144C) alongside the hairy nectary; outside strong purplish red (59D) on a pale yellow (8D) ground and suffused strong yellow-green (144C) along midveins; basal part of each petal with dark red (187A) spots and with papillae (coloured as the petal) near the nectaries; pollen vivid orange-yellow (23A); stigma dark red (187B). Fls 190mm wide, erect; petals 120 x 30mm, not ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 135 x 15mm, mid green. Stems 0.82m, mid green, with c5 fls. |
